CORE FUNCTION AND STABILITY

If your core muscles and breathing are dysfunctional, all other movements will be.

This is why we think it is so important to train your core muscles the correct way. We will show you the right exercises and techniques to build a strong core to protect your back. This helps you improve the way you sit, stand, walk, run and play sports.

BREATHING

As basic as it sounds, many of us don’t breathe well. This prevents us from using our core muscles properly.

We will show you exercises and techniques to learn to breathe properly, which can decrease tension in the neck and shoulders while strengthening your core muscles.

CORE STABILITY

The next key role of the core is to stabilise the spine and trunk. This means keeping the spine in a healthy position while sitting, standing and moving.

Our coaches will show you how to properly engage the core muscles and use them correctly. You’ll see there is a lot more to core training than sit-ups and planks.

DYNAMIC CORE WORK

Once you are able to breathe and stabilise well, you can perform dynamic movements safely and efficiently. This is ideal if you are looking to return to demanding sports.

We will show you how to progress safely to dynamic and loaded movements while properly using your body.
