What You Will Learn on This DNS Exercise Course

Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS) is a diagnostic, treatment and movement training system developed by Professor Pavel Kolar at the Prague School of Rehabilitation. Built on the principle of developmental kinesiology, DNS provides a rigorous, science-backed framework for assessing movement quality, restoring function, and enhancing performance.

Part I covers the foundational principles that underpin the entire system. Over two days, you will learn to:

Principles of developmental kinesiology and how infant motor development relates to adult movement dysfunction
Respiratory pattern assessment, including diaphragmatic breathing and intra-abdominal pressure regulation
Assessment of the integrated stabilising system of the spine using visual analysis and dynamic functional tests
Biomechanics of human movement: support, stepping forward, the verticalisation process, and functional joint centration
Corrective exercises in supine, prone, low kneeling, oblique sit, and quadruped developmental positions
Integration of DNS corrective exercises with other training methods you already use
DNS instructor coaching quadruped developmental position with course attendee at Elevate LDN
