TPI Golf Fitness Training in the City of London
TPI golf fitness training delivered by certified coaches to build the mobility, strength and power your swing demands. Tailored programmes for amateur and professional golfers at our private City of London studio, near Bank station.
Who Is TPI Golf Fitness For?
Whether you play once a week or compete regularly, TPI golf fitness training is built for golfers who want their body to support their swing, not fight it.
Losing distance or consistency
You feel like you're leaving yards on the table because your body can't get into the positions your swing needs.
Picking up recurring niggles
Lower back, hip or shoulder issues keep flaring up through the season and simple stretching isn't solving the problem.
Competitive golfer wanting an edge
You already have a coach for your swing and want structured physical preparation that complements your game.
Returning from a golf-related injury
You've been cleared to train again and need a structured route back to full golf-specific fitness.
How Your Golf Fitness Programme Works
Every programme follows a clear progression, shaped by how you move and where you want your game to go.
Screen
Your TPI assessment evaluates how you move in key patterns linked to the golf swing.
The assessment identifies restrictions in the hips, thoracic spine, shoulders and ankles that may limit your swing. Findings shape exercise selection, volume and progression so the programme targets what matters most for your game.
Mobilise
Targeted mobility work helps you access better positions without forcing the swing.
We focus on the hips, thoracic spine, shoulders and ankles with drills you can repeat between sessions. Improved range of motion means fewer compensations and more consistent contact.
Strengthen
Progressive strength training builds the foundation your swing demands.
Lower-body strength, core stability and rotational control are developed through exercises that transfer to the course. Programming stays individual, whether you are building a base or peaking for an event. Golfers who want broader athletic conditioning often combine TPI sessions with our strength and conditioning programme.
Perform
Power work teaches you to express force quickly and safely in a golf-relevant way. Clients who also need injury management can blend golf fitness with our rehabilitative training programme.
Why Train at Elevate LDN
Golf fitness with credible coaching, not a generic gym programme with a golf label.

Golf-specific, not generic fitness
Exercises target the patterns that matter on the course: rotation, hip and shoulder mobility, core stability and power that transfers to the club. Training complements your coaching and practice.
Private, distraction-free studio
Train without queues or distractions in our EC3V studio near Bank and Monument stations. Every session is one-to-one so programming stays focused on your goals.
Inside a healthcare clinic
If a golf-related niggle needs clinical input, physiotherapists, chiropractors and osteopaths work in the same building. Your care stays joined up.

What Our Clients Say
5.0 (41 reviews)“I had a fantastic experience working with Ben Davies at Elevate LDN. His approach to personal training is both supportive and highly effective - he made every session enjoyable and productive. As a TPI golf fitness instructor, he helped me make real progress in a short time, tailoring everything to my needs as a golfer.”
“I've been training with Ben for several months now. He's created a personal training programme centered around golf fitness that's increased my strength and flexibility. I've found that I feel stronger but also has helped me swing harder without getting small injuries that I had been picking up before.”
“I have been working with Ben on personal training for a couple of years now, focussing on golf fitness. With his Titleist Performance Institute certification Ben is able to provide dedicated golf fitness training that has helped this middle aged, 13 handicap golfer to improve mobility, strength and (importantly) provide an extra 15 yards off the tee!”
“Ben has been exceedingly helpful. I have been seeing him for personal training and he has materially improved my golf fitness. He understands the mechanics of the golf swing and my rotation, speed and power are all vastly better.”
“Great facility and personal training services at Elevate LDN! Worked with Ben to improve golf fitness, really happy with results so far and highly recommend.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Ask us a questionTPI (Titleist Performance Institute) golf fitness training connects how your body moves with how you swing. Our coaches use TPI principles to assess movement limitations, then build strength, mobility and power work that supports a more efficient, repeatable swing. It is coaching for the golfer, not a substitute for swing lessons with a PGA professional.
Many swing faults start from physical restrictions rather than technique alone. By improving mobility through the hips, thoracic spine and shoulders, and by building stable strength and explosive power where you need it, you can move more freely into key positions, reduce compensations and transfer force more effectively. Clients often report better consistency and confidence on the course.
No. Our golf fitness programmes are tailored to your level, from weekend golfers to competitive amateurs and professionals. The focus is on your movement profile and goals, not your handicap. Beginners gain a solid physical foundation; experienced players refine capacity and resilience.
Golf fitness work can support recovery and reduce load on irritated tissues when programmed appropriately, but acute or complex injuries need clinical input first. If you are in pain or returning from surgery, our rehabilitative personal training team can coordinate with your physiotherapist or osteopath. Many clients blend rehab and golf-specific preparation before ramping up power work.
A TPI assessment begins with a movement screen and relevant physical tests to evaluate how you move in patterns that matter for golf. The results inform exercise selection, volume and progression. Sessions take place in our private studio near Bank and Monument stations, so the assessment and all training happen in a focused, one-to-one environment.
Most golfers make steady progress with one to two coached sessions per week, supplemented by short homework drills for mobility and stability. Frequency depends on your schedule, training age and whether you are in a build phase or maintenance. Your trainer will agree a realistic plan around work and tee times.
Distance often improves when mobility and sequencing improve and when you can produce more usable force without losing control. We train qualities such as lower-body strength, core stability and rotational power in a golf-relevant way. Results vary by individual, but many clients notice a more athletic, effortless feel through the ball.
Both coaches are TPI Certified. Ben Davies holds the Fitness Level 2 qualification alongside DNS and NASM CES credentials that inform his corrective and rehab work. Ben Higton brings a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science and a sports performance background. Full profiles and qualifications are on their individual pages.
