View course detailsWhat Is DNS?
DNS is a diagnostic, treatment and movement training system developed by Professor Pavel Kolar at the Prague School of Rehabilitation. It is built on the principle of developmental kinesiology: the study of how human motor skills evolve from infancy and how those innate movement patterns can be restored in adults.
The system has gained significant international recognition and is used by clinicians and trainers worldwide. DNS has applications across the full spectrum, from low-threshold rehabilitation to elite sports performance. Our fitness professional courses in London cover the complete DNS Exercise certification pathway.
As a DNS-certified professional, you will be equipped to assess movement quality, identify dysfunction, and design corrective programmes that address the root cause rather than the symptom. The principles carry over to every aspect of training, from core exercise selection to coaching compound lifts, yoga poses, or sport-specific movements.
The Certification Pathway
The Certified DNS Exercise Trainer (DNSET) qualification is awarded by the Prague School of Rehabilitation. Complete all three parts, pass an online theory exam after Part II, and pass a practical exam at the end of Part III to earn your certification. Part I must be completed at least 12 months before taking the practical exam.

What Past Attendees Say
5.0 (41 reviews)“As a clinical Pilates teacher, I thought I understood movement, but DNS completely reshaped how I assess and guide clients. It gave me a clearer understanding of neuromuscular control, allowing me to see beyond surface-level compensations. Practical, immediately applicable, and truly transformative.”
“DNS changed the lens through which I look at exercise selection, forcing me to question why I put a client into a given position and how I address the foundational movements relevant to that individual.”
“The DNS course opened a new approach to visualising and testing movement dysfunction. It is a useful clinical tool for understanding movement patterns and explaining their causation.”
“DNS gave me a fresh perspective on how muscles are interlinked. The root cause of a problem may not be at the pain point. DNS addresses an inside-out approach to create core stabilisation in a more sustainable way.”
“The tools and assessment strategies can genuinely be implemented the very next day. I would strongly recommend this seminar to any practitioner looking to refine their assessment skills and enhance their clinical results.”
“The response I receive both physically and psychologically from each patient is remarkable. DNS practice for everyone is non-negotiable. I cannot recommend the course highly enough.”
