What You Will Learn on This DNS Exercise Course

Part II builds on the foundational principles covered in Part I, moving into higher developmental positions and integrating external resistance. This is where DNS becomes directly applicable to the training floor, bridging the gap between corrective exercise and strength and conditioning.

The course places a strong emphasis on refining movement patterns and applying DNS concepts to sporting contexts. You will explore how developmental kinesiology informs the way we coach dynamic, loaded, and sport-specific movements.

Apply developmental kinesiology to optimise posture, movement efficiency, and sports performance
Demonstrate exercises in higher developmental positions: tripod, bear, squat, lunge, and step-up, with modifications to enhance proprioception and body awareness
Integrate DNS principles with resistance tools including elastic bands, barbells, dumbbells, and gym balls to reinforce correct movement patterns under load
Apply DNS to sport-specific techniques including throwing, jumping, striking, and skating
Prepare for the online assessment required to progress to Part III and eventual certification

What to expect

Part II continues the blend of theoretical and practical learning from Part I. Expect detailed presentations on advanced DNS concepts, with the majority of time spent in hands-on practice. You will work in pairs and groups, applying resistance-based and sport-specific exercises to develop your coaching skills in more dynamic settings.

What Past Attendees Say

5.0 (41 reviews)

“DNS changed the lens through which I look at exercise selection, forcing me to question why I put a client into a given position and how I address the foundational movements relevant to that individual.”

Rohan Forbes-O'Neill Personal Trainer, Third Space London

“DNS gave me a fresh perspective on how muscles are interlinked. The root cause of a problem may not be at the pain point. DNS addresses an inside-out approach to create core stabilisation in a more sustainable way.”

Nokkie Movement Coach, Thailand

“The DNS course opened a new approach to visualising and testing movement dysfunction. It is a useful clinical tool for understanding movement patterns and explaining their causation.”

Razvan Chiropractor, London Healthcare Clinic

“The response I receive both physically and psychologically from each patient is remarkable. DNS practice for everyone is non-negotiable. I cannot recommend the course highly enough.”

Tina Hall Chiropractor, Bodymatters Motion, Dorset

The online test covers material from Parts I and II and includes multiple-choice, picture-based, and video-based questions. A minimum passing score is required, with up to three attempts available.
