TJ Tamana
TJ has over 20 years of experience as a personal trainer and coaches across five specialisms at Elevate LDN: body transformation, strength and conditioning, muscle gain, rehabilitation and pre/postnatal training.
Body transformation and weight loss form the core of his practice. As a certified BioSignature Practitioner and Poliquin Performance Specialist, TJ uses hormonal profiling and structured nutrition coaching to target fat loss and body composition changes that last. His programming is built around habit-based methods rather than restrictive diets, which is why many of his clients have maintained results for years.
His strength and conditioning and muscle gain work draws on over two decades of progressive resistance training knowledge. TJ designs periodised programmes that build strength, muscle and resilience, whether the goal is a first pull-up, a 100kg deadlift or simply feeling more robust day to day.
TJ also holds a pre and postnatal training diploma. He has coached women through pregnancy and postpartum recovery for much of his career, integrating core stability, pelvic floor work and safe loading into sessions that adapt trimester by trimester.
On the rehabilitation side, TJ works with clients returning from surgery, managing chronic conditions or rebuilding confidence after time away from training. His approach bridges the gap between clinical recovery and full physical fitness.
His route into fitness was shaped by his father's success in bodybuilding in Kenya. That early exposure to disciplined training planted the drive that has sustained a 20-year career built on results, accountability and long-term client relationships.
